
By-laws of The Wild Bunch 4WD Club
Adopted this 10th day of November, 2007
Article I
The organization shall be known as the Wild Bunch 4WD club.
Article II-
ObjectivesThe Wild Bunch is organized as a non-profit organization for the purpose of:
Having fun.
Plus, bringing together in a family atmosphere, individuals who share the same interests in 4-wheeling and other outdoor activities, and to educate the public on the importance of helping to conserve our public lands for future generations.
Article III –
Membership & DuesMembership is open to anyone owning a 4-wheel drive vehicle who has been accepted by 2/3 (or 51%) vote of active members.
There will be no mileage constraints on membership.
There will be no penalty for not attending club functions other than not being able to run for elective office.
In order to hold an elective office, a member must be active in the club. Eligibility requirements for holding office are:
Member must make at least 5 meetings or events by the 3rd quarterly meeting.
Members should conduct themselves in a respectable manner whether in or out of club activities. We’re not your parents and we won’t scold you. Just don’t anything to embarrass yourself or the club.
Members shall not imbibe in alcoholic beverage whilst on a trail run or event where driving is involved.
Members shall be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and have auto insurance as required by law.
Club dues will be $20.00 plus the going rate of the Colorado Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs Inc.
Club dues shall be paid in full no later than March 1st to maintain membership.
Article IV –
Meetings Meetings will be held every three months at a location to be determined prior to the meeting.Correspondence for any needed business or club events will be through e-mail.
Article V –
Administration & Officers The officers of the Wild Bunch shall consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer. It shall be their duty to preside at meetings and take care of all club business.
Article VI –
Expenditures and Finances Club officers shall have the authority to approve any expenditures not exceeding $200.00. Any expenditure over $200.00 shall be voted upon by majority vote of the membership.Article VII –
Election of Officers The membership shall meet at the 3rd quarterly meeting to nominate members for office.Voting on said nominees shall be in December.
Voting shall be in person and not by proxy, mail or absentee.
Majority vote rules.
Elections for the office of President and Secretary shall be on even numbered years.
Elections for the office of Vice President and Treasurer shall be on odd numbered years.
Article VIII –
Dismissal of membership Unless you kill somebody or commit some other crime you might go to jail for, we aren’t going to kick anybody out.
